“The Laboratory” is an exploration into relationships; failed, dysfunctional, attempted, forced, and yet to be. I began “The Laboratory” to re-contexualize a series of works along a similar train of thought. These pieces are all attempting to illustrate and investigate the way one person connects or does not connect to another. This shelter houses “Spinning my Wheels,” “1+1=1,” “Stomach full of Butterflies,” and “Asphyxiation.”
